Hello Beene Family
The 2008 Reunion Committee is pleased to announce that our 2008 Beene Reunion will be held July 31-August 3, 2008 in beautiful sunny San Diego, CA. Why San Diego? (I’m glad you asked) After speaking with several family members near and far the consensus was “we love San Diego” and “we haven’t been there for a reunion in a long time”. Besides we have the beach!!
Hotel Accommodations have been made at the Hilton Mission Valley. www.sandiegomissionvalley.hilton.com. , with the single rate starting at $132.00 a night. More information on hotel rates to follow.
We had a wonderful time in San Antonio, Texas, (thanks Bettye, Dot and Richard) but we didn’t see your lovely faces enough. So we’re planning activities where we will be spending lots of quality time together was a loving family whether we like or not (got it!) (Now everybody shake your heads yes in agreement while reading this) Okay!!!
Plans are still being made, but we need your input. Would you rather do Sea World or the World Famous San Diego Zoo? We need to check on group rates. Unfortunately, because of the way the itinerary is being planned, Disneyland is not an option. There will be alternative activities planned for those that don’t want to do our other activities but togetherness is what we’re planning.

Registration and more itinerary information will be shared, when all the plans are finalized. So check the website for updates. Also, if you have any suggestions (besides Disneyland) or ideas let one of the committee members know.
